"Shai was incredibly pleasant to work with from the beginning. We knew what we wanted for our cake already but had to find a baker that would not only make a beautiful cake but it had to also taste great! Shai has always been very responsive to emails and was able to set up a tasting even if she wasn't free that weekend. We got to take the tastings as a to-go package and enjoyed them in our home with friends. Everyone agreed the cakes were delicious! On top of that, Shai was able to design our cake exactly as we asked and WITHIN our tight budget! We were so happy with the final result and will be savouring our frozen leftover pieces for months!! I highly recommend Sweet&Shy for your wedding desserts!!"

"I met Shai early 2017 at my gym, and from the moment I met her, I felt as if I'd known her all my life. I learned about her baking obsession last summer and I just had to try it for myself. Shai quickly became my friend and my only go to for cakes and baked treats. Not only do I love her cakes, but everyone I've recommended her to, has been nothing but thrilled with the results.
So when I got engaged last fall and started planning my wedding, of course going with Shai for my wedding cake and cake favours was a no-brainer.
Like most brides, I went on pinterest, found my cake and sent her a picture. Usually, my personal attempts at pinterest-like perfection are subpar at best. But Shai, blew me away, literally blew me away with the cake and favours she delivered.
When my husband and I got up to cut the cake, I just stared in awe at its perfection and how she mastered the naked, rustic cake with fresh flowers that I had dreamed of. Not only that, our cake favours were cupcakes made of the same batter as the wedding cake, with white rosettes and gold sugar lace. So yummy, I can still taste them! Just the most beautiful site.
Shai, you made our day beautiful and I can't wait for more fun times and more cakes along our new journey :)

"Thank you so much for your delicious cake and cupcakes! I honestly had a bite of the cake and loved it, and then when I went back to get a slice, they were all gone! Clearly an amazing testament to how delicious it was. Your cupcakes (which I did eat!) were a hit, and I could not believe how fudgey they were. I think I had about 4! haha
